Recently, Holt told me that my birthmother would like to meet me at the airport. My birthmother is worried she won’t be able to meet me at the airport because she works in the mornings. My family is says I should go ahead and let her meet me at the airport. For me, I think i’m not going to be emotionally ready to meet her after getting off such a long plane flight and seeing her at 5 in the morning. I wasn’t expecting this at all… I was expecting to just set up a time to meet her at Holt and then go from there.
I don’t know what to do…..

wow, not the ideal way to meet your birth mother for the first time. can holt arrange a different time? a time without luggage to carry, places to find, etc. maybe holt can tell her you want to meet at a quiet place to talk because you NEED to be ready. i hope for the best for you
